Editorial Product Review:Item Description:RN provides solutions for both the clinical and professional challenges of nursing and includes CE content each month. RN offers advice and information on health, diet, stress management, leisure time, and family life, keyed to nurses particular needs for career and lifestyle.
Amazon.com:RN is the respected professional journal 'with the personal touch' for registered nurses. The magazine prides itself on its monthly delivery of cutting-edge research data and articles that tackle the major issues confronting today's nurses and nursing procedures. A bit more accessible than its sister publication, the
American Journal of Nursing,
RN speaks to nurses in the trenches of their jobs yet still maintains a highly scientific record. Research studies based on procedures or diseases are fleshed out in great technical detail. Feature articles address a variety of nursing issues from best practices to alternative medicines, while the 'News Watch' section briefly outlines industry updates and trends. Like
AJN,
RN offers continuing education credits for registered nurses via mail-in tests. A section called 'Management Decisions' offers expert advice on how both nursing directors and their nursing teams can interact smoothly and productively. And each month
RN spotlights a Shining Star, a nursing professional who deserves special recognition for his or her unique work--a personal touch indeed.

RN magazine is slow!
RN
Placed an order for RN Magazine January 28th. It is now April 12th and I still have not received my first magazine. My account has already been debited, however. Disappointed with the inefficiency of RN magazine. If you are thinking about ordering this magazine, be prepared to wait months.

Where is it????
I placed my order on 02/18/08; as of 03/26/08, I have not received my subscription, nor have I heard anything from RN magazine, letting me know when I can expect my subscription to begin. If this is the way this magazine does business, I will either cancel my order or not renew.
